This colorful house--Biru means blue (not beer!), is one of the most endearing on site. Set up 2 meters from the ground, accessed by steps, this house has an elevated view of the surrounding food gardens and is conveniently located by the restaurant and the library - reception area. The front porch is a comfortable and private place to read a book from the library, watch the daily vegetable harvest, or learn a few Indonesian words from the staff. If you’re nice, Pak Sebe, the garden caretaker, may let you plant some rice with him. There is an outdoor sofa set in the garden area of the house for afternoon naps or leg stretches. This is the ideal, comfortable, laid back spot for the solo traveler or couple.
