But first, a little peek into what’s new.
- John & Cynthia Hardy
In collaboration with our dear friends at Astungkara Way, we’ve deepened our journey into regenerative rice farming, tending to the island with care, curiosity, and compost. Our gardeners are learning time-honored ways of nurturing soil and seed, whether spreading natural fertilizer or crafting gentle pest control. On April 28th, we planted this season’s ready seeds, a symbolic act that marks not only the beginning of a new growing cycle but also the continuation of our shared journey of protecting Bali’s precious rice fields.
Learn MoreIt’s an honor to be seen as one of The Standard UK’s “10 hotels changing the world”. Here by the Ayung River, wrapped in the shade of coconut palms and the chorus of Kingfishers, we let Mother Earth be our greatest muse. Spring-fed pools. Papaya-stem straws. A bouncy bamboo bridge. It’s the little things, really. The wild and wonderful things that make up Bambu Indah. And we’re happy you’re here to experience it all with us.

Explore the boutiqueSUSUBU, a heartfelt initiative from Carina Hardy, was born from the desire to support women in one of life’s most sacred moments. In partnership with Bumi Sehat, this special collection features nursing cups handcrafted from 925 recycled sterling silver. Designed to gently contour the entire areola and form a protective barrier over sore, cracked nipples, they harness silver’s natural antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties to soothe and heal.
You can purchase a pair for yourself or choose to donate directly to Bumi Sehat.
