Bambu Kitchen

Our Bambu Indah Kitchen is open daily from 6:30am to 10:00pm. Proudly serving local cuisine prepared with great care, with recipes that have crossed generations and embody the nature we reside in. The Bambu Indah Kitchen received the 2014 Snail of Approval by complying with Slow Food Bali’s guidelines of using at least 75% Indonesia-produced ingredients, sustainably managing our waste and paying fair wages to our incredible staff.

Riverside Warung

The River Warung, an open-air, eight-table cafe built as a traditional Balinese style kitchen, is made from treated bamboo slices that have been bent into overlapping arches that support a curved roof of hand-folded copper shingles. “I wanted it to appear as though it was constructed by a highly intelligent bird,” Elora Hardy, the designer, says of the nestlike structure, which sits next to the Ayung River in an emerald-hued valley of rice terraces. Serving daily specials, open 12pm to 5pm.

From Table to Farm

From the elements, into the landscape, grown with love, and crafted by locals for your enjoyment. We put sustainability and natural ingredients before everything in our kitchens so that you can enjoy the delicious native cuisine without worry or conviction.

Local Produce

We grow produce on our property, often right outside your temporary vacation home. Everything prepared by our crew has either been grown close to home, or sourced from close by.

Organic Vegetable & Herb Garden

Lead by locals and gardening experts, our organic produce garden is a sustainable source of food and fosters the use of indigenous ingredients.

Homemade Delicacies

With local ingredients comes local delicacies. We channel the culture of Indonesia and sear it into all of our dishes for you to get a true taste of Bali and Bambu Indah.

Creating Karma

We believe in giving back to our community, and we strive for sustainability at every point possible. It starts with homegrown ingredients and ends on your plate. From your satisfaction to our respect for mother nature, we aim to bring it full-circle.
