Padi House
The Padi House is a two-storey haven with cascading views across the serene Bambu Indah rice fields and beyond to the Bongkasa valley where the Ayung River flows.
Upstairs is reached by a wooden spiral staircase which brings you to the 31 m² sanctuary of relaxation and beauty adorned in soothing indigo blues. The king-size bed with elegant French linen sheets is complemented by comfortable lounge chairs, iconic art from the private Hardy collection, a writing desk and an exquisite Caucasian carpet.
The awe-inspiring round bathroom features a live bamboo grove and rain shower. Natural body products and cotton waffle towels and robes make the experience delicious.
Adding to the charm is a roomy wooden porch, providing the perfect antique daybed swathed in more indigo from which to soak in the afternoon light.
The Padi House’s ground floor is a grand 42 m² studio for those desiring additional space and privacy. Ironwood floors and eye-catching ceiling braces create a feeling of warmth and depth. A grand vintage writing desk, hand-woven antique Caucasian rugs, Sarawak textiles, and artifacts and photographs from Borneo ooze history and creativity.
Another exquisite and quirky private outdoor bathroom features a huge hand-carved stone sink and stone tub from East Java, surrounded by mud walls and is the home to the roots of the bamboo grove.
Positioned a convenient distance from Bambu Indah’s stunning salt-chlorinated, pebble-lined swimming pool, Sunset Elevator bar and signature restaurant, Tembaga, this unique abode offers ample space for creatives or families to comfortably immerse themselves in the beauty of Bambu Indah and the island of Bali.
